Service RequestWe’ve found a better way to help our PolarStar clients manage their service issues. PolarStar is now offering a new help desk service to better help you organize your workload and handling of trouble tickets.

With the new service, your employees can now access a simple web-interfaced program for submitting help requests to your IT department, and they can track the progress of their requests online. As part of the service, your IT team has a fully-integrated platform for accepting requests, triaging them, assigning resources, and resolving service issues. And you’re directly linked to the PolarStar team of experts if you need us. You have total control over what issues get assigned to PolarStar and what you’ll handle in-house.

Now you have the ability to share and coordinate workflow between your internal staff and PolarStar to ensure there’s never a gap in your coverage. And you always have end-to-end visibility into all IT service issues.

The Out-of-Office feature helps you cover service gaps automatically by simply “flipping the switch” to temporarily override your request rules and auto-escalate all new tickets directly to PolarStar during the time you designate. This gives you the peace of mind of having complete coverage, even when your internal team isn’t available. Of course you can exclude low priority troubles, as desired.
